Role Summary:

The Senior Strength Analyst provides strength analysis to support design activities in the area of aircraft engines development and certification plus sustaining engineering; supports team in order to meet assigned objectives. Analyst will work within defined work tasks to delivery reports to the Strength Office Leader, utilize the ANSYS system as the main tool for performing the strength
analysis plus other utilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads team of 5 Strength Analysts
  • Execute the analysis, design, test, or integration required to
    define and support assigned components, assemblies or systems that meet business standards and program / product requirements
  • Prepare and present technical data/reports to internal team and
    partnership development organization
  • Document and communicate results of technical data generated
  • Participate on teams assigned to address specific organizational initiatives
  • Share engineering information and promote open dialogue
  • Prepare invention disclosures to protect the technology that provides a competitive advantage to the business
  • Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures
  • Dealing with new design documentation management
    requests

Requirements:

  • Bachelor/Master degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Strength area, preferred from Aviation industry
  • Familiarity with design, test and analysis tools and systems (ANSYS, CS-E)
  • International environment experience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Working knowledge of Czech
